CBS produced "The Cases of Eddie Drake" in 1949. It was subsequently shown on NBC in 1951 (June 4 - August 27) and on DuMont in 1952 (March 6 - May 29). The episode: "Shoot the works" aired on DuMont on April 10, 1952.

Subject: Featuring a Davis!
Not a very good show... unique and complicated format but poor writing.

Worth watching for car fans, because the detective drives a Davis three-wheeler. Only a dozen or so were made, and the company ended up in court for stock fraud.
